Staff was rude. Dr. Glen was rude. My daughter and I were treated like Aetna welfare recipients. We have private insurance. My daughter needed all 4 wisdom teeth removed and basically he said that my insurance wouldn't pay what he wanted for the procedure. His Joliet location was filthy and out dated. I left feeling defeated. I did a little research and found an excellent oral surgeon who performed the procedure on the medical side because the wisdom teeth were still impacted. The procedure was performed in a sterile clean environment with friendly staff and oral surgeon. I paid the medical deductible through my max savings provider ( Dr Glenn was the first person my insurance listed) . I wouldn't recommend Glenn Scheive. Very unprofessional. Too bad my daughter had to apologize for the way that the staff and surgeon talked to me. We definitely weren't having the procedure done there for I didn't want this to impact the way my daughter thinks she should be treated or the quality of dental care she seeks in the future when she is grown.

I was pleasantly surprised today to have an easy molar extraction. These reviews are not representative of Dr. Scheive. I barely felt the novocaine, and I didn't even know the tooth was out. I only had local anesthetic. The staff was so kind, courteous, and helpful. And besides all of it, the price was really reasonable with Delta Dental network.

Had all 4 wisdom teeth removed in December of 2018. He was very helpful and understanding. I highly recommend him. Made the process seem so simple!

I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled a few months ago at Dr. Scheive's office. Everything went really smooth and the doctor and his staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. I ended up only having to pay about $200 for a special gel that is used instead of stitches, and my insurance covered the rest. The office has a retro look to it which was the only offputting part, but the doctor and his staff still did everything very professionally and did not seem to affect any part of the process. I would recommend this office to anyone in need of wisdom teeth extractions or oral surgery.
